Bringing relationships together – Allura Partners appoints GoGet CEO

Like any typical executive search firm, when Allura Partners is engaged to conduct an executive search, we complete extensive local and global search to identify unknown talent as well as reaching across our known network and relationships.

No doubt our clients recognise value in both parallel approaches however it is certainly satisfying when the preferred and appointed candidate is someone that we have known for many years. Someone that we have built a strong and trusted relationship with; a relationship that instils confidence when they are seeking their next career move.

Adrian Belle, Managing Director at Allura Partners first met Tom Davey back in 2014. At that stage Tom was 12 months into his fantastic career at Dyson leading the finance and operations functions for Australia & New Zealand.

Five years on and with Tom now managing the direct to customer business for Dyson locally, the opportunity presented for Adrian to bring two of his relationships together.

Having built a trusted relationship with The Growth Fund by delivering CEO and C-Suite searches, the CEO opportunity presented for one of their portfolio investments, GoGet. Tom was an exceptional match when comparing the requirements of the role and his skills and experience that he had developed over his years. As importantly it matched his desire to step up to a CEO role. This combintaion culminated in his appointment in July 2018.

Congratulations Tom! Well done and good luck in your new role; you will nail it!

“In today's somewhat over crowded recruitment sector, it is a pleasure to work with Adrian Belle. In my capacity as the Operating Partner I am constantly requiring C-Suite executives and NED across a diverse mix of sectors and skills. Adrian has proven time and again he knows how to unearth the gems and prepare them for interviews with the utmost professionalism.”

I would not hesitate to recommend Adrian to anyone who wants quality candidates."
