Allura Partners Leads CEO Search for Datanova Appointing Marc Englaro

Following its acquisition by private equity firm Whiteoak nearly nine months ago, Datanova has appointed Marc Englaro as its new CEO. The placement, led by James Curtis, Principal at Allura Partners, marks a significant leadership transition as the company prepares for an accelerated growth trajectory.

The CEO appointment is one of several leadership mandates Allura Partners has executed in partnership with Whiteoak over the past 12+ months, supporting talent strategy across the firm's expanding portfolio.

Founded in 2004, Datanova delivers enterprise-level software for the disability sector, including staff management, incident reporting, and client tracking. The acquisition by Whiteoak mid-last year marked a new chapter for the business, with a mandate to continue its strong foothold with its current customer base while growing its footprint across the country and in new verticals.

Marc brings deep experience from the technology sector, having held multiple C-suite roles and successfully led Permaconn through the Five V Capital acquisition. He also co-founded a CRM technology company that was later acquired by a global industry leader. This entrepreneurial chapter further distinguishes his track record of innovation, scale and strategic execution.

"Marc stood out early in the process, not only for his operational and private equity experience, but also for his entrepreneurial mindset and commercial instincts," said James. "His leadership style and personality also resonated strongly with the Founder, making this a natural and values-aligned transition."

Congratulations to Marc, Christian, and the team at Datanova. It has been a privilege to support this pivotal leadership transition, and we look forward to the business's continued success in the years ahead.
