Following Allura Partners’ successful placement of Morris Guest as Chief Executive Officer at Total Ventilation Hygiene (TVH), in partnership with Alceon Private Equity, we have facilitated two further strategic appointments to strengthen the leadership team and accelerate growth. Narelle Olsen has joined as Chief People Officer, and Dennis Hesketh has joined as Chief Financial Officer.
TVH has over 20 years’ experience delivering mechanical, electrical, fire and HVAC hygiene services across the commercial, industrial, education, government, mining and healthcare sectors. The company has a national presence and operates 24/7. Alceon Private Equity partnered with TVH in mid-2025 with an ambitious plan to transform the founder-led maintenance services business into a scalable platform capable of further expansion throughout the country.
Alceon brought in additional leadership resources to augment the very strong operational team with experience driving PE-backed growth disciplines. Allura Partners was engaged to undertake the searches.
Recognising that sustainable growth requires exceptional talent and culture, TVH decided to create the new role of Chief People Officer.
Leanne Wells, Principal at Allura Partners, and Engagement Manager Jacqueline Young, led the search to find a CPO with a Melbourne-based industrial background, PE experience and capability to build from greenfield.
Following strategic consultation with TVH, and a targeted search process, the team identified Narelle Olsen as the leading candidate for this role. Specialising in both strategic and operational human resources and change management, Narelle’s career has demonstrated her ability to drive large-scale change projects with best practice human resources solutions.
Narelle has worked across multiple industries, including manufacturing, water/construction, and financial services. Most recently, the Director of Human Resources with Civilmart and IPA Group (part of CRH Global), she has highly relevant industry experience. Fittingly, she has built HR functions from the ground up, implemented human resources information system solutions, and led negotiations for enterprise bargaining agreements, return-to-work, and workcover processes. Importantly, she demonstrates the high energy and commercial approach required in a PE environment. With a business-savvy mindset, she is perfectly positioned to align people strategy with objectives, create an exceptional culture, embed governance and compliance, and build a top-quality team.
The CFO search for TVH was supported by research led by Angela Borbe, Engagement Manager at Allura Partners. The mandate was clear: secure a CFO with industrial services experience, a strong private equity track record, and hands-on expertise in ERP implementations and acquisition integration.
Dennis Hesketh emerged as the ideal candidate. With a career spanning complex corporations across international geographies, he demonstrated an ability to drive change, build high-performing teams and manage risk – all while delivering improvement to the bottom line. At UCS Group, a leading provider of underground power networks and sustainable energy solutions, Dennis spent over three years building robust financial frameworks. His tenure at Cooke & Dowsett, a leader in the plumbing sector, showcased his turnaround capabilities, improving business systems, and delivering initiatives that lifted commercial outcomes.
But what distinguished Dennis the most was his experience implementing multiple ERP systems across industrial services businesses. In his roles with UCS Group and Cooke & Dowsett, he implemented new ERP systems, projects that perfectly align with TVH’s immediate needs. Most importantly, Dennis demonstrated the commercial rigour and strategic mindset essential to PE-backed businesses.
Together, these three appointments demonstrate Allura Partners’ expertise in adding value by building complete leadership teams for PE-backed businesses. From CEO to CFO to CPO, each placement reflects a clear understanding of TVH’s strategic objectives, Alceon’s value creation plans, and the capabilities required at each stage of the business's evolution.
Working closely with Morris and Dennis, Narelle will align strategy with people, support future acquisitions, and ensure TVH develops organisational capability to maintain the operational excellence and client relationships that have underpinned TVH’s long-standing success.
