Karen Flanagan is an Engagement Manager with Allura Partners. Karen started her career in Media Sales working with Australia’s largest Media Corporations. Dealing with a range of organisations, from blue chip clients to smaller, scaling businesses, Karen understands the demands, complexity and varied approach required by these organisations. Karen made an intentional career change in 2017 into Executive Search and Recruitment. Having previously led large, dispersed teams, she translates her hands-on leadership experience into a consultative, highly empathetic approach.

​Karen specialises in Senior Management and Executive-level placements across a wide range of sectors, including Technology, Manufacturing, Legal, Travel & Hospitality, Health & Aged Care, Professional Services, Heavy Industry & Mining, Agriculture among others. Karen is passionate about Executive Search, and is known for her consultative approach, developing trusted & transparent relationships with clients and candidates.

Interests:

​Outside of work, Karen enjoys traveling, getting lost in a good book, unwinding at the beach, catching up with friends over a glass of bubbles and being bossed around by her rescue cat Lulu.
