Allura Partners Appoints Victor Andersson as CFO for Banking Circle

Allura Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Victor Andersson as Chief Financial Officer for Banking Circle Australia, the Australian subsidiary of Banking Circle Group, a global banking and financial infrastructure provider, following its acquisition of Australian Settlements Limited (ASL) last year.

Banking Circle Australia operates as an Authorised Deposit-Taking Institution and leads in providing banking and payment processing and settlement solutions to Australian banks, Fintechs and payments businesses. After acquiring ASL, Banking Circle tasked Allura Partners with executing a targeted CFO search to support the next phase of growth and integration.

Tom Hattersley, Principal at Allura Partners, and Jenny Yang, Engagement Manager, led the search. The team collaborated closely with stakeholders and conducted a highly focused, disciplined process to identify a commercially astute finance leader with deep banking experience and strong regulatory expertise.

Victor is a commercially driven CFO with deep banking expertise spanning financial management, risk oversight, operational controls, and regulatory engagement and reporting. Known for his strong grasp of organisational strategy and key financial drivers, he enhances processes, improves efficiency, and delivers actionable insights that directly support commercially strategic outcomes.

In his role, Victor will lead accounting, treasury, capital, insurance, and payroll functions, while partnering closely with CEO, Piers Cracknell; Senior Advisor & Board Director, Mark Tibbles, the Australian leadership team, auditors, and regulators. His mandate includes establishing robust financial governance, delivering practical and strategic financial analysis to guide decision-making, and developing a high-performance finance function that supports Banking Circle Australia’s growth, seamless integration of ASL and the broader Banking Circle growth plans in Asia.
