Allura Partners Appoints CTO for Benchmark Estimating Software
Allura Partners has successfully placed Jerome Comptdaer as the Chief Technology Officer for Benchmark Estimating Software, a portfolio company of Whiteoak. In this newly created role, Jerome will lead the company’s global technology strategy, with a primary short-term focus on re-platforming its SaaS-based cost estimation tool, which is widely used in the civil engineering sector.
The search for a CTO was a well-planned initiative, with discussions on the role beginning over a year ago. Jake Rose, Associate Director at Allura Partners, maintained ongoing engagement with a carefully curated pool of candidates, ensuring a strong talent pipeline when the timing was right.
Jerome Comptdaer was identified early as an ideal fit due to his profound digital transformation and infrastructure technology expertise. The introduction was made at the right moment to align both parties’ needs.
Jerome brings extensive experience in modernising technology functions. He has a strong background in turning infrastructure assets into dynamic, data-driven structures across sectors such as environmental monitoring, building management, transport, and hydro-infrastructure. His ability to manage complex digital initiatives makes him well-suited to lead Benchmark Estimating Software through its next growth phase.
Under Jerome’s leadership, Benchmark Estimating Software is set to undergo a rapid re-platforming project to enhance its product’s capabilities and user experience. He will also be responsible for maturing the company’s technology function globally, ensuring it remains at the forefront of innovation in cost estimation software.
